If you have visited the sight recently you will notice that I have not posted anything to this blog for some time. My apologies but this is due to a number of reasons but the main one being that I am not longer living Jamaica. So I don`t feel that I can activity post anything about Jamaica. I may change the name of the blog as I am still living with a gluten allergy and constantly making new recipes.
Recently my cousin was recently diagnosed with H pyloric Acid Re-flux, this is no joke; he has lost at least 50 lbs and his diet has drastically changed. After months on antibiotics his system was needless to say a mess. For someone who was once known as "Iron Belly" , it has taken him some time to figure out what type of diet is best for him. With this I have become his consultant on food and recipes. After some time, various discussions and research we came to the conclusion a pseudo Candida diet may be the best plan for him. Don't mistake me he has consulted his doctor before moving forward.
So since this New Year began, I have been recuperating form gluten exposure. Unfortunately with the festive season, this tends to happen, even though no one is trying to poison you (at least not on purpose, it happens). So here are a few things that I do that help me when I have come across the "dreaded gluten".

I love to research, cook and of course eat delicious food. I am always ready to sample new foods that are not just gluten free but tasty. I love to create and try new recipe’s. I am a firm believer that food must affect all 5 sense in order to fulfill the complete food experience. It must smell good, look good/ colorful, have a defined texture and above all tastes good. I don’t believe that we need to sacrifice taste for health, the healthier the better the taste. Archives
